Select the software you will use to control the printer:

Are you printing from external software such as Climatools, Climapulse or Tooltagger? Please read on after step 5!

SMS SmartLabel – The label design & print app for Android (smartphones and tablets)

WePrint – The label design & print app for iOS (iPhone & iPad)

SMS WebLabel – The label design & print app for your browser (PC & Mac OS)*

* On Mac OS X, you can design, save and synchronise labels with other devices. However, please note that the printer driver is only compatible with Windows, which means that direct printing from a Mac is not possible.

Connecting via smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth):

  1. Switch on your SMS-330 printer and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Open the SMS SmartLabel or WePrint app
  3. Create a new label or select an existing label
  4. Press Print to open the print preview window
  5. Then select your printer and click Connect to establish a connection.

Connecting via SMS WebLabel (USB):

  1. Switch on your SMS-330 printer.
  2. Download the SMS-330 printer driver for Windows
  3. Install the printer driver by running the SMS-330-Printer-Driver.exe installer file.
  4. Connect the SMS-330 to your PC using the supplied USB-C cable.
  5. Open the SMS WebLabel page and the printer should now be connected automatically.

Create a label

  1. Open the SmartLabel app or WebLabel window and click New (+)
  2. Enter a name for your label
  3. Enter the desired width and height of your label
  4. Select the media type: Gaps or Marks*
  5. Your label has now been created, and you can start adding text, barcodes, images, etc.
  6. Finished designing? Click the Print button to open the print window.

* Are you using a roll of labels with space between each label? Then select Gaps.
 Are you using a roll of labels with black stripes on the back? Then select Marks.

Printing a label

When printing, there are a number of settings you can manage.

  • Number of copies: This allows you to print multiple copies of a single label.
  • (Orientation): This controls the orientation of the print (0°, 90°, 180° or 270°).
  • Darkness: How much heat the printer uses to print (default is 10)
  • Speed: Print speed (default is 3)
  • Horizontal / Vertical offset: You can add margins here if your design is not perfectly positioned on your label.

Are you ready to print? Then press the Print button!

If you want to access your labels anywhere, it is advisable to create a cloud account.

  1. Open the SMS SmartLabel app
  2. Tap the Gear (settings) icon in the top left corner of the app.
  3. Click Login Cloud
  4. Press the orange Register button.
  5. Enter the desired email address and press Verify.
  6. Open your email inbox and copy the verification code you received.
  7. Paste the verification code into the app and enter a new password.
  8. Tick the terms and conditions and press the Register button.

Now you can log in to your cloud account and access the labels you upload from anywhere!

Once you have created a cloud account and logged in, you can easily share your labels between different devices! Read below to find out how this works.

Synchronising a new label

  1. Design a label or select an existing label in the Local folder.
  2. When you have finished designing, press the More button.
  3. Select the Share option
  4. Select Share to cloud
  5. Now click Upload

The label is now being uploaded to your cloud account.
You can find all your synchronised labels under Templates > Cloud

Edit and synchronise an existing label

Would you like to change something in a label stored in your cloud?
Don’t forget to re-upload the label so that your changes are applied everywhere.

  1. Open the label in the Cloud folder.
  2. Make the desired changes
  3. When you have finished designing, press the More button.
  4. Select the Share option
  5. Select Share to cloud
  6. Now click Upload

Your existing label will now be updated everywhere.

With the SMS-330 and our labelling software, you can easily print nameplates from Climatools. To do this, use our 126 x 84 mm labels and follow the instructions below.

For Apple iOS users

The preparations (one-off)

  1. Make sure the WePrint app is installed
  2. Download the name plate template: download template
  3. Go to your files/downloads folder and open the template.
  4. Press the Share icon () and select the WePrint app.

The label is now saved in the memory of the WePrint app

Printing a nameplate

  1. Ensure that the nameplate template is open in the WePrint app
  2. Open Climatools and go to Installations and select the desired installation
  3. Press Actions and select Download nameplate (the PDF will now open in your browser).
  4. Click the Share icon () and select the WePrint app
  5. Now WePrint will open with the message Data file received
  6. Now press Use and the existing template will be overwritten by your new identification plate.

You are now ready to print the name plate!

For Android users

The preparations (one-off)

  1. Ensure that the SMS SmartLabel app is installed.
  2. Download the standard template: download template
  3. Press the file and select Open with > SMS SmartLabel
    Not logged into your app yet? Then this template is already available under: Templates >Cloud > Machine / Product >Climatools 126 x 84MM

Printing a nameplate

  1. Open Climatools and go to Installations and select the desired installation
  2. Press Actions and select Download label (the PDF will now be loaded into the memory of your SmartLabel app*)
  3. Open your SMS SmartLabel app and select the template Climatools 126 x 84MM
  4. Press the Data button and then press Select data source
  5. Select the desired installation (PDF) and click on Import file
  6. Click Confirm and the PDF will now be placed in your label

You are now ready to print the name plate!

* Is the PDF not in the list? Then go to your downloads folder, select the Climatools PDF and choose share or open with: SMS SmartLabel

For Windows users

The preparations (one-off)

  1. Install the Windows printer driver: Download
  2. Connect the SMS-330 to your PC using the USB cable and switch on the printer.
  3. In WIndows go to Settings > Printers and Scanners and select the SMS-330
  4. Press Printing Preferences
  5. Select the Options tab
  6. Set the following values:
    Darkness: 15
    Speed: 1
    Media type: Gaps
    Rotation: Rotate left 90° (only necessary if you are printing from Microsoft Edge or Adobe Acrobat)
  7. Press Apply

Printing a nameplate

  1. Open the nameplate
  2. Press Print to open the print preview window
  3. Click More settings
  4. Select page size > 84 x 126 mm and set scaling > Fit to paper size
  5. Press Print again to print the nameplate

With the SMS-330 and our labelling software, you can easily print identification plates from Climapulse. To do this, use our 126 x 84 mm labels and follow the instructions below.

For Apple iOS users

  4. Press the Share icon () and select the WePrint app.

  5. Press the Data button and then press Select data source

* Is the PDF not in the list? Then go to your downloads folder, select the Climapulse PDF and choose share or open with: SMS SmartLabel

Met de SMS-330 en onze labelsoftware kunt u vanuit R-Flow online eenvoudig kenplaten printen. Gebruik hiervoor onze etiketten in de maat 126 x 84mm en volg de instructies hieronder.

Voor Apple iOS gebruikers

De voorbereidingen (eenmalig)

  1. Zorg dat de WePrint app geinstalleerd is
  2. Download het standaard kenplaat sjabloon: download sjabloon
  3. Ga naar uw bestanden/downloads map en open het sjabloon
  4. Druk op het Deel icoon () en selecteer de WePrint app

Het sjabloon wordt nu opgeslagen in het geheugen van de WePrint app.

Een kenplaat printen

  1. Zorg dat het kenplaat sjabloon is geopend in de WePrint app
  2. Open R-Flow en selecteer vervolgens de gewenste installatie
  3. Druk op Afdrukken en selecteer Kenplaat mobiel (de PDF wordt nu geopend in uw browser)
  4. Klik op het Deel icoon () en selecteer de WePrint app
  5. Nu opent WePrint met de melding Data file received
  6. Druk nu op Use en de bestaande sjabloon wordt overschreven door uw nieuwe kenplaat

U bent nu klaar om de kenplaat af te drukken!

 

Voor Android gebruikers

De voorbereidingen (eenmalig)

  1. Zorg dat de SMS SmartLabel app geinstalleerd is
  2. Download het standaard sjabloon: download sjabloon
  3. Druk op het bestand en selecteer Openen met > SMS SmartLabel
    Bent u nog niet in uw app ingelogd? Dan staat dit sjabloon al klaar onder: Sjablonen > Cloud > Machine / Product > R-Flow kenplaat

Een kenplaat printen

  1. Open R-Flow en open de gewenste Installatie
  2. Druk op Afdrukken en selecteer Kenplaat mobiel (de PDF wordt nu geopend in uw browser)
  3. Druk op Delen en kies SMS SmartLabel (de PDF wordt nu geladen in het geheugen van uw SmartLabel app*)
  4. Open uw SMS SmartLabel app en kies het sjabloon R-Flow kenplaat
  5. Druk op de knop Data en daarna op Select data source
  6. Selecteer de gewenste installatie (PDF) en klik op Import file
  7. Klik op Bevestigen en de PDF wordt nu geplaatst in uw label.

U bent nu klaar om de kenplaat af te drukken!

* Staat de PDF niet in de lijst? Ga dan naar uw downloads folder, selecteer de R-Flow kenplaat PDF en kies delen of openen met: SMS SmartLabel

 

Voor Windows gebruikers

De voorbereidingen (eenmalig)

  1. Installeer de Windows printer driver: Downloaden
  2. Verbind de SMS-330 via de USB kabel aan uw PC en zet de printer aan
  3. Ga in Windows naar Instellingen > Printers en Scanners en selecteer de SMS-330
  4. Druk op Voorkeursinstellingen voor afdrukken
  5. Selecteer tabblad Options
  6. Stel de volgende waardes in:
    Darkness: 15
    Speed: 1
    Media type: Gaps
    Rotation: Rotate left 90° (alleen nodig als u vanuit Microsoft Edge of Adobe Acrobat print)
  7. Druk op Apply

Een kenplaat printen

  1. Open de kenplaat
  2. Druk op Afdrukken om het afdrukvenster te openen
  3. Klik op Meer instellingen
  4. Selecteer paginaformaat > 84 x 126 mm en selecteer schaling > Aanpassen aan papierformaat
  5. Druk nogmaals op Afdrukken/Print om de kenplaat af te drukken

With the SMS-330 and our label software, you can easily print QR code labels from Tooltagger. To do this, use our 25 x 25 mm or 30 x 30 mm (round) labels and follow the instructions below.

For Apple iOS users

The preparations (one-off)

  1. Make sure the WePrint app is installed
  2. Download the standard Tooltagger template:
    Download 25 x 25mm template
    Download 30mm (rond) template
  3. Go to your files/downloads folder and open the template.
  4. Press the Share icon () and select the WePrint app.

The label is now saved in the memory of the WePrint app

Printing a QR-code label

  1. Ensure that the Tooltagger template is open in the WePrint app
  2. Open Tooltagger, go to Tools, and then select the desired tool(s)
  3. Press the QR Codes button, then press Print.
  4. Click the Share icon () at the top and select the WePrint app
  5. Now WePrint will open with the message Data file received
  6. Next press Use and the existing template will be overwritten by your new QR code

You are now ready to print QR code labels!

    Download 25 x 25mm template
    Download 30mm (rond) template
  3. Click the file and select Open with > SMS SmartLabel
    Are you not logged in yet? Then the template is located at: Templates> Cloud > Maintenance > Tooltagger label 25 x 25mm or Tooltagger label 30mm (round)

Printing a QR-code label

  1. Ensure that the Tooltagger template is open in the SMS SmartLabel app.
  2. Open Tooltagger, go to Tools, and then select the desired tool(s)
  3. Press the QR Codes button, then press Print.
  4. Click the Save as PDF button
  5. Open your SMS SmartLabel app and select the Tooltagger label 25 x 25 mm or Tooltagger label 30 mm (round) template.
  6. Press the Data button and then press Select data source
  7. Select the desired PDF and click Import file
  8. Click Confirm and the PDF will now be placed in your label

You are now ready to print QR code labels!

* Is the PDF not in the list? Then go to your downloads folder, select the Tooltagger PDF and choose share or open with: SMS SmartLabel

For Windows users

The preparations (one-off)

  1. Install the Windows printer driver: Download

Printing a QR-code label

  1. Select the desired tool(s) in Tooltagger and click on the QR Codes button
  2. Set the Height to 20
  3. Click Print to open the print preview window
  4. Click More settings
  5. Selecteer paginaformaat > 25 x 25 mm (of 30 x 30mm) en selecteer schaling > Aangepast > 44%
  6. Press Print again to print the nameplate
