Printing a nameplate from R-Flow

With the SMS-330 and our label software, you can easily print nameplates online directly from R-Flow. Use our 126 × 84 mm labels and follow the instructions below.

For Apple iOS users #

Preparation (one-time setup) #

1. Make sure the WePrint app is installed.
2. Download the standard nameplate template: Download template.
3. Go to your Files/Downloads folder and open the template.
4. Tap the Share icon and select the WePrint app.

The template will now be stored in the WePrint app’s memory.

Printing a nameplate #

1. Make sure the nameplate template is open in the WePrint app.
2. Open R-Flow and then select the desired installation.
3. Click Print and select Mobile Nameplate (the PDF will now open in your browser).
4. Tap the Share icon and select the WePrint app.
5. WePrint will now open and display the message Data file received.
6. Now tap Use, and the existing template will be overwritten with your new nameplate.

You are now ready to print the nameplate!

 

For Android users #

Preparation (one-time setup) #

1. Make sure the SMS SmartLabel app is installed.
2. Download the standard template: Download template.
3. Tap the file and select Open with > SMS SmartLabel.
   Not logged in to the app yet? The template will already be available under: Templates > Cloud > Machine / Product > R-Flow nameplate.

Printing a nameplate #

1. Open R-Flow and open the desired installation.
2. Click Print and select Mobile Nameplate (the PDF will now open in your browser).
3. Tap Share and select SMS SmartLabel (the PDF will now be loaded into the memory of your SmartLabel app*).
4. Open the SMS SmartLabel app and select the R-Flow nameplate template.
5. Tap the Data button, then tap Select data source.
6. Select the desired installation (PDF) and click Import file.
7. Click Confirm, and the PDF will now be placed on your label.

You are now ready to print the nameplate!

* Can’t find the PDF in the list? Go to your Downloads folder, select the R-Flow nameplate PDF, and choose Share or Open with: SMS SmartLabel.

 

For Windows users #

Preparation (one-time setup) #

1. Install the Windows printer driver: Download.
2. Connect the SMS-330 to your PC using the USB cable and turn on the printer.
3. In Windows, go to Settings > Printers & scanners and select the SMS-330.
4. Click Printing Preferences.
5. Select the Options tab.
6. Set the following values:
   Darkness: 15
   Speed: 1
   Media type: Gaps
   Rotation: Rotate left 90° (only required when printing from Microsoft Edge or Adobe Acrobat)
7. Click Apply.

Printing a nameplate #

1. Open the nameplate.
2. Click Print to open the print dialog.
3. Click More settings.
4. Select the page size > 84 × 126 mm and set Scaling > to Fit to paper size.
5. Click Print again to print the nameplate.
