The SMS-330 features two buttons and a settings menu.
Turn on the printer #
Place a print ribbon cassette and a roll of labels in the printer.
Lock the print ribbon cassette (lever on the underside of the printer).
Press and hold the Power / Menu button (left) for 2 seconds to turn on the printer.
If you printed the last time before you turned off the printer, you do not need to do anything: the printer is immediately ready to print.
Als u zojuist een nieuwe rol etiketten in de printer heeft geplaatst: druk één keer op de Feed / Settings knop (rechts) om één etiket door te voeren: daarna is de printer gereed voor de volgende printopdracht.
If you have just placed a new roll of labels in the printer: press the Feed / Settings button (right) once to feed one label; the printer is then ready for the next print job.

Turn off the printer #
Press and hold the Power / Menu button (left) for 2 seconds to turn off the printer.
If you will not be using the printer for an extended period, also unlock the print ribbon cassette using the lever on the underside of the printer. This prevents the print ribbon from sticking to the label if the print head presses on the edge of the first label for too long, thereby pushing the adhesive out from under the label edge.
