Is your tape sticking to the ribbon and winding around it during printing? This is usually caused by adhesive from the tape “bleeding” and sticking to the ribbon. See the solution below.
Change the cut position. #
Click the printer icon in the bottom-right corner of a label, select the Advanced Settings tab, and change the Cut Position value to -0.18 cm (up to a maximum of -0.24 cm).
Start with -0.18 cm. If the ribbon is still sticking to the tape, increase the value by -0.01 cm increments, up to a maximum of -0.24 cm.
Use an SR20 ribbon. #
If you are using an SR10 ribbon, switching to an SR20 ribbon will resolve the issue. The SR20 ribbon contains wax, which makes it less likely to stick to the adhesive layer of the tape.
