Printing a Nameplate from ClimaTools

Would you like to print a nameplate from ClimaTools? Follow the steps below.

Create a nameplate #

1. Open your ClimaTools dashboard
2. In the menu, click Installations and open the desired installation.
3. Click the blue Actions menu.
4. Then select Download nameplate.
   
   

A nameplate (PDF file) for the installation will now be generated.

Print a nameplate #

1. Open the PDF file you have just created.
2. Click the Print icon or press CTRL + P on your keyboard.
3. Select the desired printer.
4. Does the print preview of your nameplate look correct? If so, click Print.

Printer settings (SMS-430 & SMS TAG-ID2) #

Does the print preview show an incorrect aspect ratio? If so, the label size may need to be adjusted.

1. In Windows, go to Settings > Printers & scanners.
2. Select the desired printer.
3. Click Printing Preferences.
4. On the Options tab, set the following values: Width 10 (cm) and Height 15 (cm).
   
5. Are you using an SMS-TAG-ID2?
   If so, make sure the media type is set to “Label with gaps” (Advanced Settings > Media Type > Label with gaps).
6. Click OK or Apply.
