Would you like to determine settings such as your printer’s IP address, but your printer is not connected via USB? Then print a printer configuration label.
Printing a Configuration Label #
- Make sure that a ribbon and a 10 cm wide tape are loaded in your printer.
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the FEED button, then turn on the printer.
- Both status LEDs will light up solid orange for a few seconds.
They will then briefly turn green and subsequently change to other colors.
When LED 2 turns green and LED 1 turns orange, release the FEED button. - Press the FEED button to print a configuration label.
The label will look similar to the example below (click to enlarge):
Finding the IP Address #
You can find the current IP address approximately halfway down the label.
If no value is shown here, your printer is not (properly) connected to the network and does not have a valid IP address assigned.
